Dalga Robe - Full Length

I am not well off financially, but my values don’t align with buying cheap comforts. So when I decided to gift myself a bathrobe that would be temperate in all seasons, but also highly absorbant and long, I poured through reviews across so many brands to try and find something that my conscience and pocketbook could feel good about buying. When I found Odd Bird, I knew I found what I was looking for. First of all, the marketing looks so luxury-brand coded, my aspirational fantasies perked right up. But what I also noticed was that the brand’s narrative seemed to care more about the sustainable origin of its materials than it did about selling a brand name. I took a chance on one 1 size larger since that was all they had in the style I wanted. The product images looked exactly like what I got: comfort that laid unobtrusively over my shoulders like a blanket, a texture that felt and looked as organic as it was, and it was as warm and absorbant as I needed it to be. A true spa robe for kicking it in your living room. I’m so glad I made this investment; I love this robe and hope to care for it for a long time.

So glad I was able to snag this beauty before the line was discontinued! Such a cozy robe and I’m so grateful to have it for the upcoming winter.

I wear this robe all the time! It's so lovely! I will say that the waist tie falls a little low for my liking, but I just bring it up over my belly, haha. It fits true to size, too!

This is a nice enough robe, I wish it was a little more opaque but other than that it's good quality. My issue is with the sizing. I first ordered the M/L because it was important to me that the sleeves were long enough, but the robe was massive on me: The tie waist sat below my hips and the sleeves came down to my knuckles. I exchanged it for a S/M but this one is much much smaller, the sleeves dont even make it to my wrists. The size difference is so extreme I almost wonder if I was accidentally sent a XL the first time. Unfortunately, the cost to exchange it is so high it wasn't worth it to me to try again.

I have two Oddbird robes, and love them both, but the Dalga is a bit warmer and softer, so I wear that one on cooler days. You can't go wrong with this robe!
