perfect sauna gear

This is an update from an earlier review. We ordered a set (1 of each color) for sauna gear. As I mentioned in an earlier review, they are stunning, rich colors. The fabric is both hefty and soft. We have used them for a season in our sauna. They have held up to the heat and sweat of the sauna as well as the bitter cold lake water and stony shore of Lake Superior. They launder well. We’ve ordered more as gifts after guests have enjoyed them as much as we have.

Deniz Handwoven Towels

I’ve been using 4 of these towels for over a month now and am absolutely in love with them! Before the first wash, I soaked them overnight; this helped to increase absorption. Then, I washed them on a delicate cycle with Le Blanc Original Linen Wash and a half cup of vinegar. Afterward, I line-dried them. These towels are incredibly vibrant, don’t stain easily, and feel wonderful on your skin! There’s also little to no lint. Because they’re more heavyweight, they do take around 40 minutes to dry fully after I towel off from a shower, but the tradeoff is that they’re more durable and will therefore last longer, which I think is a fair trade. Overall, I’m very impressed by this company and its high-quality and reasonably-priced products!

Beautiful - price is for 1 towel only

It is beautiful, a heavier weight than expected but that means high quality. Color is fabulous. It wasn’t clear if the price was for 4 towels or 1. I guessed it’d be one but was disappointed when that was the reality. Pricey for 1 towel.

We title all of our towels as collections sometimes to reflect that they are offered in two sizes: the bath towel size for $59 and the hand towel size for $28, or other times to indicate that there are different color options like the Deniz collection and the Sinoh collection. Hopefully this helps to make things a bit more clear.

Stunning and more substantial in weight than I was expecting

These are just beautiful! The colors are true to as pictured, and the close up gives a good representation as to the slightly “chunky” weave.. They are more substantial in weight than I was expecting, and I love the heft. They are soft and absorbent. We are planning on using them as sauna towels and wraps so I will update how they hold up over the winter!
